On February 28,2009 the North Logan 12th ward Varsity program left to go snow caving at the summit of Logan Canyon. We arrived there around 2:30 p.m. and we hiked up to our campsite. One at the campsite, we had two boys go and get the supplies while the other three boys started digging. Around 4:30-5:00 p.m., the supply boys were done bringing the supplies back, and the other three were on the way to making a Jo-jo massive snow cave. We then continued to dig well into the night. It was existentially cold and three of the five boys,( the more unexperienced), dug snow caves that weren't sufficient for their needs. As the wise leader saw their pitiful condition, he graciously convinced the more experienced boys to accommodate the other novice boys. Even inside the new cave, it was still exceedingly cold and several of the boys were chilled. By the time that we were finished extending our new cave, we were all glad to finally get some sleep. Even though most of us were numb in the morning, we all finished uninjured. Despite the bitter cold, it was still enjoyable. P.S. Have you ever eaten frozen fruit-snacks?
